| WOW! It's already passed mid September. Where does the time go? A good way to describe my life over the past month is hectic. Fall is one of the most AMAZING seasons. I love it! I arrived back from Texas, cleaned and did lots of planning, then started school. School has been going well! I'm taking a Composition class at the school, and that has been different, but VERY stretching and good for me. I was able to take it from a very good teacher, so it has been enjoyable. Other than school, volleyball has been FUN! The team is doing pretty well, it's always fun to spend so much time with the girls on the team. That pretty much sums up my life right now. I have been unfaithful in my personal devotions, and that has been very hard. But, I plan to change that starting by getting off the computer right now and starting them!!! love you all! talk to you soon! God Bless! ~Always Kate | | |
| WOW! I know I have been WAY to faithful about updating. (hehe) Well a lot has happened this summer. It has been amazing attending Countryside Bible Church! The group of people I've met are all so much fun! I have started to change my perspective on so many things. Things that seemed justifiable no longer can be justified. Their pastor has been speaking on James 4 since I arrived down here, and it has been SO convicting. Sunday school has been on the ten commandments, again REALLY convicting. Anyway, aside from church it has been so awesome to be here with Kirsten, Brian and family. I'm so glad that I have had this opportunity to be a part of their lives. It has been a time that I wouldn't trade for the world. It's so amazing how different each child is. The girls have many things in common, and then sometimes you can't help but wonder how they can be sisters when they are so different,.The boys play all the time, and they seem to always have their light sabers out. Zachary holds his own quite well for a three year old fighting against an eight year old. As the time to leave comes closer I find myself so sad and yet so excited to be going home! HOME! that's a wonderful word, although I have felt so at home these past two months here, it will be wonderful to be with my parents Seth and Kyle again! I can't wait to live out all that I have learned this summer. Hope that your summer has been wonderful! God bless! ~always Katelyn | | |
| WOW, it's been a while! Sorry I have been so bad about updating. Things always get quite crazy during the summer. I'm so excited to be down here for more than one reason.
-First, naturally, my sister and her family are incredibly fun. And it has been fun to be in the family setting. At home we all are doing are own thing, and here all four kids are dependent on Kirsten, and being the oldest is a lot harder than I had imagined. It has been a stretching experience, and I am seeing that God has a lot in store for my summer.
-Also, her church is AMAZING! I love our church at home, but the youth group down here is AWESOME, and the teaching is very well done! I'm looking forward to all the time I will have down here to be with this church family!
On a very much more depressing note, I heard that Pastor Cory and Amy are leaving. Although I know they have God's leading in this, it is still very hard to see them go. I have so appreciated there ministry to our church, and it will be very hard coming back without them.
I have to get going, but I hope that you all have a wonderful Holiday weekend and enjoy your time with family and friends! God Bless you guys!

| Just for you Maleah! The past few weeks have kind of been a blur. Finishing up school had been quite invigorating! Gotta love the end of the year! It has proved to be another busy spring, and finishing my term paper is always a lingering project. Other than that, I have been playing lots of soccer. Isaiah, and Kari are coming home for Seth's graduation! and then the following weekend I'm leaving for Texas. I'll be there until August sometime. I can't wait to see those precious little children! Hope you are all well! God Bless!

| WOW! Sorry it has been so long! The past weeks have gone by so quickly. I went back to CO for spring break. This time only with my family, except Seth had to stay home because he couldn't miss a class he's taking... that was a HUGE bummer for both of us! But that was over Easter, and since then I have been playing lots of soccer. I love it! It has been so much fun. We had our fist games last Saturday, and most of my team didn't come, so it was only 10 of us, and then one of the players was injured in our first game, so the second there was only 9 of us, other than that, this weekend's games went well. Playing in the rain yesterday was definitely not the most fun weather I have ever played in, but it was still fun being with my team. It is so nice to say that school is winding down for the year, the next couple weeks will be REALLY busy, but at least the end is in sight! Hope all is well! Have a wonderful week, and God bless!
